Gov. Eric Greitens has appointed Renee Hardin-Tammons, of Olivette, as Associate Circuit Court Judge for the 21st Judicial Circuit, which covers St. Louis County. The position became vacant due to the end of the term of the Honorable Dale Hood.
Renee Hardin-Tammons is a provisional municipal judge for the City of Berkeley and the City Woodson Terrace. She previously served as a St. Louis County Municipal Judge in the North division, a municipal judge for the City of Moline Acres, and an assistant county counselor. She is a private practitioner with Dubail Judge, P.C. and a small business owner.
Hardin-Tammons received her law degree from the University of Missouri School of Law and her undergraduate degree from the University of Missouri-St. Louis. She has served on the Supreme Court Regional Disciplinary Committee and is a committee member on the Supreme Court Committee for Practice and Procedure in the Municipal Divisions.
“I am excited to appoint Renee Hardin-Tammons to the bench,” said Gov. Greitens. “Judge Hardin-Tammons will be an asset to the St. Louis County Associate Circuit Court because of her strong ties to the county and her extensive experience as a lawyer, small business owner, and municipal court judge.”
