Governor Eric Greitens has appointed Clinton R. Wright, of St. Louis, as Circuit Court Judge for the 22nd Judicial Circuit, which covers the City of St. Louis. The position became vacant due to the retirement of the Honorable Dennis Schaumann.
Clinton Wright has been practicing law in St. Louis for more than 25 years. Throughout his career, he has tried more than 50 jury trials. He is currently the principal attorney of his law firm, the Wright Firm LLC. Wright received his undergraduate degree from the University of Missouri and his law degree from Washington University. In the community, he serves as a high school mock trial coach and a volunteer for Join Hands ESL, a non-profit organization that assists families and children in need.
“I am excited to appoint Clinton Wright to St. Louis City’s circuit court,” said Governor Greitens. “He will bring a strong command of the law and a practical wisdom gleaned from his years of private practice. I am confident he will serve with distinction.”
