Governor Greitens Appoints Dean Waldemer as Circuit Judge for St. Louis County
Governor Eric Greitens has appointed Dean P. Waldemer, of Kirkwood, as Circuit Court Judge for the 21st Judicial Circuit, which covers St. Louis County. He will fill the position created by the retirement of the Honorable Tom DePriest, Jr.
Waldemer has more than three decades of experience as a prosecutor for St. Louis County. Since 1991, Waldemer has been the Chief Trial Attorney for the St. Louis County Prosecutor’s Office. Waldemer is also a municipal judge for the City of Town and Country, a position he has held for 13 years. Waldemer received his undergraduate degree in Business Administration and his law degree from Saint Louis University.
“For 33 years, Dean has been committed to public safety and fairness as one of St. Louis County’s top prosecutors,” said Governor Greitens. “His commitment to the rule of law and experience making St. Louis County safer assure me that he will continue to serve St. Louis County well as a circuit judge.”
