You have been out riding your motorcycle. A car forced you off the road or pulled out in front of you or you failed to navigate a turn correctly. The police always suspect that if there has been a crash, the motorcycle operator was impaired by alcohol and or drugs. Instead of asking how did the accident happen, the police officer asks the motorcyclist, who probably shaken, dazed and injured, “how much did you have to drink?”

The police officer handcuffs you and takes you to the station. When you are released, the police officer gives you a DWI ticket, and a white piece of paper and tells you that your drivers license is going to be suspended in 15 days as a result of the DOR Administrative Alcohol Hearing Process.
